Dr. Timothy L. Herrick

Dr. Herrick enjoys being part of the team at OHSU, helping patients deal with the variety of their health issues, in their family and community context. He spent more than 20 years as a physician in Africa, and is an expert in tropical disease and illness prevention. He is board certified in Family Medicine, studied Tropical Medicine in Paris, Marseille and West Virginia  and  is certified in Tropical Medicine by  the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Health.

Dr. Herrick enjoys biking, hiking and jogging, is an avid foodie and sports fan, especially when he, his wife and two sons are involved, loves exploring faith issues, and also enjoys reading and writing, and listening to and performing music.
