Dr. Timothy L. Herrick

Dr. Herrick is a Family Medicine physician at the South Waterfront clinic at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he provides patient-centered care with a focus on family and community health. With over 20 years of experience in Africa, he is a recognized expert in tropical diseases and illness prevention.
Board-certified in Family Medicine and certified in Tropical Medicine by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Health, Dr. Herrick has trained extensively in Tropical Medicine in Paris, Marseille, and West Virginia. He earned his M.D. from Northwestern University and completed his residency at Grant Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Academic Family Medicine at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Herrick’s clinical expertise spans Family Medicine and Travel Medicine, blending his international experience with a commitment to comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Azubike C. Ndukwe
Dr. Azubike C. Ndukwe is a highly accomplished medical doctor and healthcare administrator with over 38 years of experience in government and medical management. He served as the Chief Physician to Nigeria’s Vice Presidents and occasionally the President from 1986 to 2007, where he oversaw the operations of the State House Clinic. Prior to this, he was Chief Medical Officer at Nigeria Airways (1978–1983), demonstrating expertise in both clinical practice and administration.
Dr. Ndukwe holds a Master of Science in Occupational Medicine from the University of London, alongside specialized certifications in aviation safety and British medical practice. His academic and professional contributions include organizing a WHO-sponsored immunization clinic, establishing an HIV clinic at the State House in Abuja, and presenting at international medical conferences.
His contributions have earned him prestigious recognitions, including the Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR) in 2008 and the ICOBA Merit Award in 2006. Currently, he serves as a Board Member of the Federal Medical Centre in Edo State (Oribhor Okhae Teaching Hospital).
