Dr. Kingsley Uchenna Onyemere is a distinguished Consultant Endocrinologist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois. A graduate of the University of Ibadan (MBBS) and the University of Illinois Chicago (MPH), Dr. Onyemere is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
With clinical experience spanning Nigeria and the U.S., he has served in notable roles, including Senior Medical Officer at Ahmadiyya Mission Hospital, House Physician at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, and Lecturer in the Division of Metabolism and Endocrinology at the University of Michigan. Since 2007, he has been a Staff Endocrinologist at Carle Clinic Association and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Onyemere’s exemplary work has earned him prestigious awards, including the Loretta Pratt Lacey Award and the Endocrine Fellows Foundation Award.
