Dr. Ugochi Ohajuruka is a distinguished Medical Doctor and Public Health Practitioner with a B.Sc in Microbiology, MBBS in Medicine and Surgery, and an MPH from the University of Liverpool, UK. She also holds certifications in Community Health, Women’s Health and Human Rights, and Leadership and Management in Health from prestigious institutions like Harvard, Stanford, and the University of Washington.

As the CEO and Founder of Health Aid For All Initiative (HAFAI), Dr. Ohajuruka is a leading advocate for Menstrual Health and the eradication of Female Genital Mutilation. Her work has impacted numerous lives through health promotion, capacity building, and service delivery. She played key roles in combating Ebola and COVID-19 in Nigeria and remains deeply committed to mentoring young girls and empowering women.

Dr. Ohajuruka has represented Nigeria at high-level platforms, including the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW), where she served as a panelist and forum speaker. Her accolades include the prestigious Alexander Prize for Women by the Commonwealth and the Rotary International Award. She is a Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health Practitioners and a member of various professional organizations such as MWAN and APHPN.
